About Batu Caves

Batu Caves is a popular tourist destination located just outside of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is a network of limestone caves that house religious shrines and temples, including the iconic golden statue of Lord Murugan which stands at 42 meters tall. Visitors must climb 272 steps to reach the main cave, but the stunning views of the city below and intricate cave formations make it worth the effort. There are also various souvenir shops and vegetarian restaurants located near the entrance of the caves.
