Discover stores in Ward Cove

Ward Cove is a small community located in southeastern Alaska, about 7 miles north of Ketchikan. The cove was once a thriving hub for fishing and shipping industries, but today it is mostly a residential area with a few small businesses. Visitors can explore the historic Alaska Pulp Corporation sawmill which was once the largest sawmill in the world, or take a hike on nearby Deer Mountain for stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. The town is also a great jumping off point for exploring the Misty Fjords National Monument.
